Ladies and Gentlemen, dear Friends,<\/p>\n
This 13th Aumist conference invites us to unite around the theme of solidarity, that driving force of change, that call to action to come to the aid of our planet.<\/p>\n
In this talk we will discuss one form of solidarity: a spiritual solidarity that seems invisible but whose effects contribute to the balance of the world.<\/p>\n
I will approach this theme through the eyes of a disciple of His Holiness Lord HAMSAH MANARAH, recalling memories and quoting Him: our lives have been so transformed by meeting Him and by His incredible destiny.<\/p>\n
The Founder of Aumism drank from all the mystical springs of humanity. He travelled all their paths before reaching Himself the ultimate stages of fusion in the One without a second, which make the Realised Being a pure channel of Divine Love.<\/p>\n
He taught us always to seek Unity at the heart of the multiplicity of appearances, insisting on respect for the diversity found in all beliefs, even those of atheism.<\/p>\n
Aumism will continue to carry this same message of respect. It is also addressed to all those who joyfully live their own faith or who pursue their own independent research into the secrets and meaning of life.<\/p>\n
In this talk I will develop three points:<\/p>\n
First: THE UNIVERSAL MESSAGE OF THE DIVINE ENVOYS: AN EXHORTATION TO SEEK OUR OWN DIVINISATION<\/strong><\/p>\n Then: SPIRITUAL LIBERATION, OR THE FRUIT OF THE REALISATION OF GOD WITHIN US<\/strong><\/p>\n And finally: HOW EVERY EFFORT TOWARDS SPIRITUAL LIBERATION BENEFITS THE WORLD<\/strong><\/p>\n I am sure that together we will be better able to discover that commitment to a spiritual and religious Path, whatever its Tradition, is also an act of Solidarity, an Energy that will count for humanity.<\/p>\n Everything that is incomprehensible, immense, mysterious and unpredictable has always given rise in human beings to the will to answer questions, to master events and to escape suffering in all its forms.<\/p>\n We see that throughout history, attempts to understand the world gradually took shape as rites, beliefs and various expressions of the Sacred. To this natural aspiration to transcendence is added the call of souls when human violence becomes intolerable in the world.<\/p>\n To answer this call and to help humanity, an Envoy, a Prophet, an Avatar, a Saviour, a Messiah incarnates, bringing a revolutionary message of Love and Wisdom and bringing Divine Energies down to earth.<\/p>\n When a new religion forms around an Envoy, it has the original meaning of re-ligare<\/em>: to link the human being to the divinity, in fact to link them to their own Divinity, and thereby to link all beings to one another.<\/p>\n Jesus, Moses, the Buddha, Muhammad, Ahura Mazda, Mahavira, all the Envoys in the different civilisations tell us: “God is within you and you can discover Him…”<\/em><\/p>\n Did not Christ say: “Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect”<\/em>?<\/p>\n And the Buddha: “Look within yourself: you are the Buddha”<\/em>?<\/p>\n Is it not written in Hinduism: “Tat Tvam Asi”, “Thou art That”<\/em>, the Absolute?<\/p>\n Is not the ultimate proclamation of the Sufis “Ana al-Haqq”: “I am the Truth, I am One with God”<\/em>?<\/p>\n I now invite you to turn to the second point:<\/p>\n Spiritual liberation is described in all traditions as the great Goal of life on Earth, and even though religions call it by different names, they all describe the same Reality:<\/p>\n In Christianity: Heavenly Perfection, being in God, ecstasy<\/em><\/p>\n In Tibetan Buddhism: Shunyata<\/em>, emptiness<\/p>\n In Zen Buddhism in Japan: Satori, Awakening, Enlightenment<\/em><\/p>\n In Hinduism: Samadhi, Turiya, the fourth state<\/em><\/p>\n In Sufism: Fana, the extinction of the self in God<\/em><\/p>\n In Western esotericism: the Holy Grail, Ecstasy, Enstasy<\/em><\/p>\n And in Aumism: Divine Reintegration, the Realisation of the Divine within oneself, the Diamond Age…<\/em><\/p>\n His Holiness Lord HAMSAH MANARAH, in His book L’Unit\u00e9 des Visages de Dieu, le Diamant Cosmique<\/em>, defines spiritual Liberation as follows:<\/p>\n “It is the ultimate goal offered to man and woman; it is the state of purity that comes from stripping away selfishness, from real detachment, from the annihilation of the vain desires that parasitise the soul; it is the state of deep, universal love, the feeling of unity that brings about fusion in the Diamond of Creation.<\/em>“<\/p>\n This essential quest is open to all without discrimination; there is no age limit, it is never too early and never too late to begin it…<\/p>\n Meister Eckhart, the Rhineland Christian mystic of the 13th century, described this very particular and intense inner moment, this crossroads in our lives: “Blessed be the day when I began to reflect on myself and on my destination…”<\/em><\/p>\n At some moment in our lives, each of us wonders about the mystery of existence and asks the question of the spiritual, the question of God. Sooner or later, the Energy of Evolution leads us to consider our future and our spiritual liberation.<\/p>\n For some, this inner revelation will be followed by a direct encounter with the one who will become their Spiritual Master.<\/p>\n For others, it will be reading His writings or meeting one of His disciples that will lead them to the Divine Incarnate.<\/p>\n Then this contact may revolutionise their whole life…<\/p>\n For others still, it will at first be no more than simple intellectual curiosity, which will later turn into a deep and solid certainty.<\/p>\n In the Holy City of Mandarom Shambhasalem in the south of France, the Founder of Aumism allowed us to feel an indescribable force of Love in His Presence, an immediate and intense experience of GOD, a rediscovered taste of the Supreme Self.<\/p>\n He described to us the reality and the power of spiritual liberation, constantly reminding us that it was our own nature and that it had always existed within us like a diamond.<\/p>\n This inner diamond is covered with the mud thrown up by our ego, life after life, experience after experience. By the grace of GOD, it is enough to take the Path of Liberation with courage and to clean around this diamond with perseverance:<\/p>\n … so that it shines again within us,<\/p>\n … so that our individual soul finds its universal soul again.<\/p>\n To encourage this quest for divine Reintegration, our beloved Instructor had these invigorating maxims inscribed in prominent places in the Holy City of the Mandarom:<\/p>\n “Contemplate the Supreme Self within you”, “You are the Supreme Self!”<\/em><\/p>\n And to the seekers thirsting for spirituality who came to visit Him, He also gave this enigmatic sentence, which awakens us to one of the greatest Truths about the meaning of life:<\/p>\n “What you are seeking is very near! It dwells in the Lotus of your own Heart.”<\/em><\/p>\n Undertaking the ascent towards the summits of one’s being requires an apprenticeship with a Guide able to adapt his Teaching to each of us.<\/p>\n In an authentic relationship, the Master’s goal is always the disciple’s autonomy.<\/p>\n Lord HAMSAH MANARAH explains:<\/p>\n “The true Master does not aspire to make puppets of his disciples; He strives to awaken the inner Master within them and leads them towards their true independence.”<\/em>[1]<\/sup><\/a><\/p>\n In all initiatory Traditions, those engaged on the path of Liberation are regarded as “athletes of God”!<\/p>\n The Christian mystic already mentioned, Meister Eckhart, wrote seven centuries ago:<\/p>\n “God will be compelled to pour Himself into you as soon as you are ready.”<\/em><\/p>\n Yes, for God to come down towards us, we must rise towards HIM!<\/p>\n The quest for spiritual liberation requires giving up any spirit of competition and comparison with others. Only our progress in relation to ourselves marks the victorious stages of our path.<\/p>\n At a certain point in our quest, an even higher dimension of consciousness will appear: it will transform the ideal of spiritual liberation for oneself into an ideal of liberation in order to help all others reach it.<\/p>\n This is the commitment and the Vow of the Bodhisattva described in Mahayana Buddhism. In other religions we find this same commitment to purify and transform ourselves, and then to help and devote ourselves to others with all our strength, through Love and Compassion.<\/p>\n This line from one of Lord HAMSAH MANARAH’s mystical poems resonates in the hearts of seekers of truth:<\/p>\n “I have accepted as my Mission to help the beings seeking to cross the ocean of existences…”<\/em><\/p>\n In His written Work, available to the general public, His Holiness Lord HAMSAH MANARAH offers more than 250 prayers, meditations, exercises, techniques, mantras and methods so that the conquest of our spiritual liberation may also become a high service rendered to humanity.<\/p>\n These treasures of Aumism, such as the REPETITION OF THE SOUND AUM and the meditation called the “TECHNIQUE OF THE VOID”, are important pillars in the quest for our own Divinisation.<\/p>\n Our beloved Instructor, one of whose initiatory titles is “Acharya”, “He who teaches what He has Himself experienced”, gives us in His Books the main means of attaining spiritual liberation.<\/p>\n On personal development and dynamic psychology:<\/p>\n – Self-knowledge, changing our perspectives<\/p>\n – Making our unconscious positive, cleansing our doubles.<\/p>\n On intellectual knowledge and universalism:<\/p>\n – General and unicist culture, knowledge of the sacred texts, of esotericism and of other religions.<\/p>\n On developing higher knowledge and inner qualities:<\/p>\n – Renouncing paradise and karma, whether good or bad<\/p>\n – Cultivating Love and the Feeling of Unity.<\/p>\n On strengthening our physical body, the vehicle of our Soul:<\/p>\n – A healthy lifestyle, diet, exercise, martial arts, yoga and pranayama (breath control)<\/p>\n On mystical exercises that foster Divinisation:<\/p>\n – Individual and collective prayers, divine mantras, meditations, repetition of the sound AUM<\/p>\n And finally, for anchoring in the Divinity:<\/p>\n – Always looking for Unity behind the veil of diversity<\/p>\n – Taking root in the Supreme Self, the One without a second.<\/p>\n We now come to the last point of our talk:<\/p>\n In Aumism, humanitarian or social aid is not organised as a separate entity.<\/p>\n Aumists freely choose to make their contribution through the many active forms and expressions of Solidarity present in our societies.<\/p>\n They act in the material world while pursuing their various spiritual goals: whether they are monks and nuns living at the monastery of the Mandarom, or priestesses, priests and all the Aumists who carry out their family and social responsibilities in the world.<\/p>\n These two quotations from esoteric and universal wisdom shed even more light on the scope of these commitments:<\/p>\n “Every soul that rises raises the world.”<\/em><\/p>\n “Every righteous person who is liberated fosters the Liberation of a thousand righteous.”<\/em><\/p>\n In response to the troubled events of the moment, on 26 February this year, 2022, the Aumist Religion published on its website an appeal for Peace on the European continent and in the world.<\/p>\n It invites everyone to repeat the Sound OM several times a day (in particular at 8.30 am, 6 pm and 9 pm, French time) with this intention: “May Love, Harmony and Peace reign among all people, all peoples, all nations.”<\/em><\/p>\n Yes, individual and collective work towards spiritual liberation spreads an evolutionary energy that is received by all the kingdoms of the living.<\/p>\n Yes, through the reality of the vibratory alchemy of prayer and meditation, the part influences the Whole. Every microcosmic vibration changes macrocosmic reality, for we are all ONE; Humanity is ONE…<\/p>\n The vibrations of the hearts and minds of Initiates, of those who are journeying towards their divinisation, travel through the Universe and resonate in the hearts and Minds of all beings.<\/p>\n The waves of thought grow and accelerate in concentric circles.<\/p>\n The beneficial influence of Holy Cities and Holy Places on our planet is a reality: they are power stations of Energy, Prayer and good thoughts that constitute true talismans. Those who, near or far, pray there in Unity are on the path of spiritual liberation.<\/p>\n They seek neither illusory paradises, nor fame, nor selfish bliss.<\/p>\n Above all they want to reach the Source of Love through selfless service and solidarity, in thought, word and deed, with their fellow human beings and the kingdoms of nature.<\/p>\n Thus, through the practice of mystical breathing and invocations, sacred chants, meditations that allow them to reach the ultimate space of the void, and by offering up their works in daily life, those who seek Liberation take part in the transformation of the world.<\/p>\n Lord HAMSAH MANARAH speaks to our hearts and tells us:<\/p>\n “We must work hard at our own perfection in order to serve humanity better and fittingly…”<\/em><\/p>\n Finally, speaking to the depths of our being, He reveals:<\/p>\n “Our true goal in life is to become what we potentially are…”<\/em><\/p>\n Ladies and Gentlemen, dear Friends,<\/p>\n During this talk we have shared together that Spiritual Liberation is a reality already present within us; it is the sure promise of true happiness.<\/p>\n May our individual and collective paths strengthen the immense heart of human solidarity.<\/p>\n May our solidarity in all its forms grow every day and help establish a true dynamic of Universal Love in the world.<\/p>\n OM OM OM<\/p>\n V.
