REFOCUSING ON ONESELF<\/h2>\n

Despite the communication tools that make it possible to stay in touch with family, loved ones or friends, lockdown imposes an unprecedented solitude on many people. Finding oneself alone with oneself, with one’s mixed reactions to isolation, can sometimes be hard to bear, but the situation can also offer the opportunity for a precious refocusing on oneself, on what is essential.
\nIn this process of positive introspection, Aumism, like other traditions, calls on each of us to become aware (again) of our divine nature, considering that God is present within us:
\n“Become the God that you are<\/em>“: such is the word addressed to every human being on Earth by His Holiness Lord HAMSAH MANARAH, founder of the Aumist religion.
\nBecoming aware of our divine nature and walking the spiritual path of “divinisation” does not consist in “bringing down” into man or introducing into him “something” that did not exist. It is a matter of tearing the veil of ignorance that prevents us from contemplating the Divine already within us.”<\/em> (Le Yoga de la Divinisation<\/em>, p. 18)
\nIt is therefore a matter of identifying no longer with one’s personality but with the divine Consciousness, not fearing to affirm: “I am the Supreme Self<\/em>“.
\nTo make this affirmation one’s own is also to make the deep resolution to improve ourselves a little more each day, without guilt but with determination, to reduce our failings and faults, so that benevolence, tolerance, love, fraternity and solidarity may grow within us more each day.
\nThis effort to develop one’s human qualities of course also concerns atheists of good will, even if they do not accept the idea of a divine dimension:<\/p>\n

“You have the right to deny the existence of God,<\/em><\/p>\n

but you have the duty to transform yourself,<\/em><\/p>\n

to improve yourself for the happiness of the world.<\/em>“<\/p>\n
