HAMSAH MANARAH<\/strong><\/h3>\n<h2><b>THE AUMIST&#8217;S JEWELS<\/b><\/h2>\n<p>Aumist, place these jewels in every nook and cranny of your inner Palace.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Self-knowledge.<\/li>\n<li>Will.<\/li>\n<li>Courage.<\/li>\n<li>Patience.<\/li>\n<li>Sincerity towards oneself.<\/li>\n<li>Fighting pride, vanity and jealousy.<\/li>\n<li>Cultivating true humility in strength.<\/li>\n<li>Control of the tongue.<\/li>\n<li>Avoiding useless words.<\/li>\n<li>Not identifying either with one&#8217;s body of flesh or with one&#8217;s personality.<\/li>\n<li>Identifying with the Supreme Self within.<\/li>\n<li>Discerning between the Real and the illusory.<\/li>\n<li>Praying often.<\/li>\n<li>Repeating the OM sound.<\/li>\n<li>Cultivating Universal Love, Forgiveness of offences, Charity, Generosity of heart and mind, Patience.<\/li>\n<li>Praying for Peace, Harmony and Brotherhood in the world and in the Universes.<\/li>\n<li>Remembering that the Essence of man is Divine.<\/li>\n<li>Although subject to a certain apparent determinism, we have free will. Man becomes what he thinks. We are responsible for our destiny.<\/li>\n<li>If you enter the path of going beyond the little self, keep your feet on the ground all the same, but your gaze constantly turned towards the Star of salvation.<\/li>\n<li>Spiritual work can be done anywhere. If you live in the world, do not be discouraged. You are given the opportunity to develop qualities that will serve in the conquest of the Absolute. Offer everything you do as a sacrifice.<\/li>\n<li>Praying, repeating a Divine Name, a mantra, the OM sound.<\/li>\n<li>Doing what must be done with confidence and determination amounts to directly preparing one&#8217;s spiritual ascent.<\/li>\n<li>Man must come to an awareness of the true purpose of life if he wishes to eliminate the causes of worry, sorrow and misfortune.<\/li>\n<li>He must take into account the problems of his inner universe and those posed by the phenomenal world, so as to adapt intelligently; reconcile the course of his thinking with his real aspirations; eliminate his contradictions in order to reach inner harmony.<\/li>\n<li>It is important that men and women purify themselves, develop Love for all beings and the feeling of Unity, and strive ardently for Union with the Divine Consciousness.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge not followed by action is vain. The awakened one relies on the method with all his ardour. On this point he readily agrees with the great and serious mystical philosopher C. G. JUNG: &#8220;The finest truths in the world are of no use as long as their content has not become an original inner experience for each person.&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>Do not listen to those who deny the value of effort in ascetic practice, in order to tear the veil that hides the divinity within.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b><i>THOUGHT FOR MEDITATION<\/i><\/b><br \/>&#8220;Tell me what you desire, and I will tell you what you are worth.
