CHOOSING ONE’S THOUGHTS

Granting reality only to matter limits action to a world perceptible to the senses. And yet it is thoughts (with the intentions, desires, feelings and emotions they carry) that generate our acts. It is often said: “Sow a thought, reap an act. Sow an act, reap a habit. Sow a habit, reap a character. Sow a character, reap a destiny.” (Quoted in L’Unité des Visages de Dieu, p. 405)
Thoughts radiate in a subtle way, even if our ordinary senses do not detect it. They have an impact on the collective level and create the state of the world.
At a time when it is urgent for the Earth to change its mentality and rise morally and spiritually [1], an awareness is essential:

“Thought is a double-edged weapon.

On the positive side it can generate love, peace and fraternity,

and on the negative side, war, hatred and destruction.”

(La Loi d’Evolution des Ames, p. 166)

“All human beings must be made to face the consequences of the choice of their thoughts” (Le Yoga de l’Amour dans la Force, p. 299), for in every situation it is possible for us, if we so decide, to improve our way of thinking and behaving and to help change the context around us.
We can choose to cultivate, for our own good and that of all, positive, benevolent thoughts of solidarity. We can also neutralise with thoughts of love the malevolent thoughts that escape us [2].
Without forgetting the key of prayer offered to all: “If you want to change your thoughts, chant the OM.”
