Women in the Golden Age

Attitudes are fortunately changing and, although this is often slow and difficult, women are striving to win their place; they take on commitments and responsibilities that are useful to society. But throughout the world they still pay a heavy price for the sexist prejudices that keep inequality and violence against them in place.
Let us recall here that according to Aumism the Divine is present in every human being. Thus “every woman is a manifestation of the divine Energy” and “mistreating a woman is a crime against the universal Mother”:
“The notion of the superiority of man over woman belongs entirely to the Iron Age.”
(L’Aumisme, la Doctrine de l’Age d’Or, pp. 228-229)
It is not a matter of setting women and men against each other, but of moving beyond the stereotypes that for so long have fixed both sides in a relationship of domination and submission. Walking towards the Golden Age means restoring fairness in human relationships.
“Woman in the Golden Age is essentially an energising force that must balance the world according to a pattern perhaps less in favour of man, but more in the direction of complementarity between the two polarities.” Recognising this complementarity leads to respect for the riches of each person and to happy cooperation.
Let us add that on the spiritual level “there is neither man nor woman, there are only souls aspiring to spiritual realisation.” What matters is the opening of the heart, the prayers and the efforts of each person to express their divinity.
And this concerns all human beings in their diversity.
