TRANSFORMING ONESELF

An ordeal is a springboard for transformation.
Today, for everyone (those who must go out to help, those who must stay at home, believers and non-believers, in France and in every country), the task is to hold a course of courage over time.
It is an opportunity to grow stronger through inner transformation.
The question we will ask ourselves as the days go by is therefore:
“How can I make this ordeal an opportunity to express the best of myself?”
There is in each of us a constructive force, a force of love that rigid habits and purely material concerns do not call upon, and that selfishness and divisions stifle. By demanding an extra effort of us, this crisis gives us the opportunity to release it and live it to the full.
To make this new start easier:
– the first step is to consider life as a school and to say to oneself with each experience: “What must I learn from this in order to progress?” If we struggle to step back from situations that overwhelm us with emotion, let us accept this with kindness towards ourselves and persevere:

“We were born on this Earth to learn to love.“

– the second step is to say to oneself, wherever one may be: “How can I love and help in the best possible way?” This is a guiding thread that leads us towards right speech and right action, whatever the context:

“By helping your brothers and sisters, you carve the jewel of your soul and you will win true happiness,
which is to have wished to make happy every person you have met.“
