LEAVING VIOLENCE BEHIND

Working for humanity means helping it to leave behind all forms of violence generated by discrimination and intolerance:

“Accept others in their difference, for unity is not the crushing of those who do not think as you do,

but the reconciliation of all those who think differently while uniting their efforts for a better world.”

(Une Loi pour détruire le Mal, p. 427)

In Aumism, respect for differences is fundamental, because “God is the same for all and present in each one“, whatever the Name given to Him.
This implies:
– respect for the different religions. “To fight and to divide in the Name of the Divine or of a religion one considers superior to the others is the worst of crimes against God“, who is Love (Le Yoga de l’Amour dans la Force, p. 288);
– respect for every woman, every man, every child. Any physical or moral aggression directed against human beings is, through them, directed against the Divine. [1]
But whatever the diversity of our paths, together we can, through right action, prayer and thought, help to build a pacified society, ever more tolerant, united and happy:

“Raising the moral level of humanity by saturating people’s minds with optimistic, fraternal, unifying and constructive thoughts has become an urgent need.“

(Le Yoga de l’Amour dans la Force, p. 302)
