The Sacred Tree

As the year draws to a close, let us be illuminated by a Tree that radiates a strength offered to all.
Let us pause in our inner garden to rediscover it through a short parable taken from Le Flambeau d’Unité, p. 343:

“Its common trunk symbolises God’s Love for each and every one. Its branches, rising towards the sky, symbolise the multiplicity of appearances of humankind, born nevertheless of the same trunk of unity.

Its foliage represents human love, lasting only for one spring and one summer. In autumn the leaves have fallen, but the trunk of Divine Love remains, spreading its sap into all the branches of humankind…

If you have understood this parable, you will never again be able to hate your father, your mother, your brother, your sister, or any man or woman on this Earth (…)

Giving thanks to the Divine Tree for its constant Love, your expanded consciousness will embrace in one and the same vision all the branches and the trunk of the Sacred Tree.

Love your neighbour as yourself. [1] Love the God who is within you [2] and you will pass from selfish love to Divine Love, for the happiness of your inner God.” [3]
