The collective interest

At the 13th International Symposium of Aumism, held on 26 and 27 March 2022 on the theme “Let us reinvent solidarity” [1], the interdependence that links individuals, peoples and nations to one another and to Nature was discussed.
This highlights the responsibility of each person at every level of society.
It is important to right the helm amid the swell of divisions:

“Too often people think only of their own petty, short-sighted interests, recalls His Holiness Lord HAMSAH MANARAH.

They even forget that they tread the ground of one and the same planet and that they exploit the riches of one and the same nourishing Earth.

Peoples divide, families break apart, nations split, because each one puts their particular interest before the general interest of the planet.

This selfish mentality must imperatively be reformed if the peoples of the Earth wish one day to live in peace in the rediscovered Golden Age…” [2]

It is service of the collective interest that, beyond differences, unites the sailors of the same ship to bring it safely to harbour. And we are all sailors on the vessel Earth, which must sail, against wind and tide, towards greater justice, solidarity and respect for life. [3]
Keeping this course in our thoughts and daily actions allows us to contribute to the pacification of the world.
