The gifts of Love

As the year draws to a close, it is important to refocus on the Strength of Love which, even if it is often forgotten, distorted or denied, is inscribed in the depths of every human being. [1]
“The creative power of Love favours the survival of individuals and of society, whether or not they are aware of its action. Understanding the mechanism of this energy within us and through us makes us accept the vital necessity of cultivating it in every heart”, His Holiness Lord HAMSAH MANARAH tells us.
Developing and spreading love means resisting hatred, warding off fear, soothing pain and safeguarding the future. And these gifts, which we can offer at every moment, are gifts for ourselves too. [2]
Indeed, cultivating love “purifies the heart. Improves one’s vision of the world. Sustains a state of joy. Maintains health and dynamism. Prolongs youth and preserves beauty despite the weight of the years…” (Le Yoga de l’Amour dans la Force, p. 53).
These benefits, which light up our existence, are linked for each of us to an overall evolution:
“The more man improves, the more he learns to love deeply, and the more he loves, the more he improves.” [3]
