Helping humanity

The 14th Aumist Symposium, to be held on 16 and 17 March 2024, takes as its starting point a question that many people are asking in these times of crisis: “How can we help humanity today?”
While stressing the need for solidarity in action at the collective level, at the level of States, to establish greater justice nationally and internationally, Lord HAMSAH MANARAH places the emphasis on personal transformation: “The service of humanity presupposes the improvement of our own human and spiritual worth.” (Le Yoga de l’Amour dans la Force, p. 292)
The political, economic and social systems created by human beings can only improve lastingly if people move beyond individualistic interests and the hatreds that divide, and build their unity on mutual respect.
Moreover, we are interdependent: what we do, for good or ill, rebounds on others as well as on ourselves.

and towards humanity, which needs individual progress.”

At every level of society, each person has the capacity to live consciously and to make choices that are fairer and beneficial to all. Fortunately, more and more women and men are acting in this direction.
Whatever the situation, every gesture of sharing, reconciliation or protection of the environment, every altruistic thought or prayer (the repetition of the OM Sound, for example) contributes to peace and brings greater happiness.
