Distress fires

In the face of the fires of a scorching summer, especially in Europe, we pray for the firefighters who, at the risk of their lives, spare no effort in fighting the forest fires. For the victims and the threatened populations. For all those who lend a hand.
Clearly, the spread of fires is favoured by global warming, which it in turn increases… Of course, the planet is not eternal, but human activities without safeguards are hastening its degradation.
“Your relationship with nature is too often one of conflict, Lord HAMSAH MANARAH tells us. You see only the very short term and seek profit at any cost without thinking of the harmful consequences of your acts. Everything happens as if the greatest selfishness drove each people anxious to preserve its riches, even at the expense of the Earth’s balance. Humanity, you are an anthill that destroys the environment. Nature is like a mirror reflecting the hatred you bear towards yourself. Polluting, exploiting and excessively attacking the environment drives nature, in distress, to take its revenge: the fires, fanned by the heatwave, make the ecological emergency spectacularly visible to all. It urges us to develop love for all living things in our acts, our thoughts and our prayers: [1]
