RESPECT, A PRIORITY FOR TODAY’S WORLD

Respect for oneself, for others and for the environment

Many of the problems facing today’s societies originate in a lack of respect.

Fortunately, the threats hanging over the future of our planet are bringing about awareness and salutary action. But human beings must reconnect with their spiritual dimension for the change of mentality to be deep and lasting: this is what Aumism proposes in response to the difficulties of the modern world.

Its Founder, His Holiness Lord HAMSAH MANARAH, teaches that the Divine is present in every being and in all that lives: it is therefore a matter of respecting the Divine in oneself, in others and in the environment. Understood in this way, respect leads to tolerance and to solidarity with all the kingdoms of nature.

“In the Golden Age, mentalities must evolve towards great respect for nature and a deep understanding of the Laws of the universe.”

(L’Aumisme, la doctrine de l’Age d’Or, p. 198)

His Holiness Lord HAMSAH MANARAH establishes respect for differences as the condition of true unity between religions, peoples and nations:

“Men will not know peace and harmony until they have developed greater respect for human worth in their neighbour. This respect must be expressed through tolerance.”

(Yoga et Sagesse, p. 257)

“True unity is above all union in respect for differences, not their disappearance.”

(La Révolution du monde des vivants et des morts, p. 85)

As at previous symposiums, some talks present the Teaching of His Holiness Lord HAMSAH MANARAH, while independent talks feed an open dialogue that respects everyone.

The 7th International Symposium of Aumism welcomes all those who care about peace, whatever their path.
