ECOLOGY: LET US CHANGE TO SAVE THE PLANET

So much delay in the face of pollution, the plundering of resources and global warming, which are putting the planet in danger… So many difficulties in moving beyond short-term interest, hyper-individualism and contempt for life!

Scientists have long been sounding the alarm; men, women and young people who are aware of human responsibility understand that a change of mentality is needed at every level of society.

Faced with this necessity, Aumist ecology helps us to change in order to save the planet: it frees us from the prejudices that divide human beings and nature. It accelerates our commitment to the environment by showing the role of the different kingdoms in human evolution, the interdependence between human beings and nature, and their unity founded on the presence of the Divine in all that lives: “If you destroy your living environment, you destroy yourself”, says His Holiness Lord Hamsah Manarah, founder of Aumism.

This symposium answers some of today’s priority questions: How can we reconcile food with ecology? Why should we take care of animals?

What can we do about climate disruption? It suggests paths for an education that takes responsibility for the future of the Earth, and for a personal change that contributes to collective change:

“Human beings, beyond their differences, must know how to unite
at the bedside of their living environment, sick from being overexploited and polluted.”

His Holiness Lord Hamsah Manarah

The International Symposium of Aumism, held every two years since 1998, seeks solutions for living better with others and with the environment, in a world where choosing reconciliation is urgent: it brings together participants from all walks of life, Aumist speakers and speakers independent of Aumism, researchers and practitioners in various fields, around themes that concern everyone.

Also on the programme: a meditation for peace, a film on the Founder’s initiatory path, a concert of sacred chants, a demonstration of hatha yoga and martial arts, not to mention the friendly gathering around the traditional refreshments.

AUMISM AND ECOLOGY

The International Symposium of Aumism, held every two years since 1998, seeks solutions for living better with others and with the environment.

It brings together participants from all walks of life, Aumist and independent speakers, researchers and practitioners in various fields, around themes that concern us all without distinction.

This 12th symposium, “Let us change to save the planet”, therefore gives priority to Ecology.

Why, in Aumism, the religion of Unity founded on the threshold of the 3rd millennium by His Holiness Lord HAMSAH MANARAH, is reconciliation between human beings and Nature essential?

Why is our humanity today faced with the need to make a fresh start?

In what direction, and how, can each of us respond to this urgency?

So many questions that will bring out landmarks, motivations, and avenues for reflection and concrete action throughout the Symposium.

CHANGE

Change… This word, now commonplace, accompanies an ever-growing awareness. It is a great step forward. But all too often it remains a mere wish.

What our planet needs is concrete and profound change. The longer we wait, the more effort it requires. But hope remains! It is still possible to mobilise together to change course:

– to curb pollution, the destruction of ecosystems, climate disruption…

– to live each day with respect for the kingdoms of the living and their interactions.

Aumist ecology offers everyone a path of reconciliation with nature, which is essential to saving the planet.
