THE TEACHING OF JESUS CHRIST

April 4, 2025

Extract from “La Réintégration Divine par le yoga”, p. 292, by S. HAMSAH MANARAH

ONE WHO HAS UNDERSTOOD THE TEACHING OF JESUS CHRIST

It is not easy for an ordinary man or woman to respect all the precepts of the Gospels, but everyone must strive to do so as best they can.
In this modern world, the vigilant Christian strives to eliminate all sectarianism.
Before the coming of Jesus, humanity knew other teachers. Their message is not to be disdained.
No fear and no contempt should dwell in the heart and mind of the vigilant Christian, for the study of other traditions makes it possible to understand one’s own better, and leads to a strengthening of the feeling of Unity.

The Christian worthy of the name avoids or rids himself of the failings that would make him a poor servant of the Forces of Light.

– He loves his neighbour as himself.
– He takes no pleasure in malicious gossip.
– He turns away from slander.
– He is not racist, for he knows, as Jesus proclaimed, that “we are all children of the same Father”.
– He does not despise the poor, the destitute, the disinherited.
– He is neither deceitful, nor a liar, nor a traitor, nor wicked.
– He does not feed on scandal.
– He is indulgent towards the sinner, but strict with himself.
– He does not wallow in envy and jealousy.
– He is neither a thief, nor a hypocrite, nor lazy.

– He sincerely aspires to Unity with the Heavenly Father.

Many human beings wave the banner of Christianity while showing the greatest lack of charity, of love, of the sense of forgiving offences.
There are even some who are capable of glorying in the harm done to their fellow beings.

They are unaware of the degrading features of their behaviour.

They forget this warning of Jesus, an expression of the law of karma:

“Whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.”

If they wish to redeem themselves, it would be good for them to meditate on this encouragement to take the path of Reintegration:

“There shall be more joy in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, than over ninety and nine just persons” (Jesus)

This last thought shows the whole immensity of divine mercy…
