WHAT IS AUMISM ?

Aumism is a religion created in the 60s by Swami Hamsananda after a lifetime of research and spiritual initiation into all the major religious currents. It later became known as HAMSAH MANARAH.
The word Aumism comes from the sound AUM, which is the fundamental prayer, and is the equivalent of the word AMEN or AMIN. Aumism is a religion that is said to be “universal” because it unifies the main religious currents, emphasizing the “Unity of the Faces of God”, meaning that each religion celebrates a facet of God.

WHAT IS MANDAROM ?

Mandarom is an Aumist monastery founded in 1969, with temples representing each religion.
Prayer, meditation and yoga are practiced with the aim of drawing closer to God.
Many important religious figures, such as the 16th Karmapa, Chittrabanu, the lamas Pao Rimpoche and Kalu Rimpoche, and Swami Yogeshwarananda, have come to visit its founder and pay tribute to his work.

IS AUMISM A CULT ?

There’s an organization in France that classifies all sects, called Milviludes.
Aumism appeared in this classification in 95 and was removed in 2008.
So, no, Aumism is not a sect.
Every religion has been fought in its infancy, as several philosophers have said:
“Every truth goes through 3 stages.
First, it is ridiculed.
Then it is violently opposed.
And finally, it is accepted as self-evident.”

WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE AN AUMIST ?

To be an aumist is to respect and be tolerant of all religions, to work towards moral, intellectual and spiritual evolution, and to pray for the world.

WHICH GOD DO YOU BELIEVE IN ?

Every religion seeks to achieve the same goal.
It’s the Christian or Muslim concept of contemplation, the Hindu concept of realization or the Buddhist concept of enlightenment.
It’s all about expressing 100% of the Divine within us.
Religions are like different high schools in the same town. Each has its own approach, its own teachers, but they all lead to success at the baccalaureate.
So every religion leads to GOD.
