The symbols
of Aumism

The AUM

The AUM

The term Aumism is derived from the primordial Sound AUM, which is the fundamental prayer of Aumists in heart and mind.
For Aumists who rely on the sacred texts, AUM is the source of Creation, the primordial Sound, the Mother-Sound of all sounds, the first and highest vibration.
It is also called Pranava, that is, the propeller of energy (“Prana” meaning vital energy and “va”, vehicle).

The AUM Sound is therefore present in all traditions. It is the Source of all blessings. It purifies one’s body, one’s psyche and the atmosphere of the surrounding world.

In its contracted form, AUM, which is found with AMEN in the Christic tradition and with AMIN in the Islamic tradition, is also written “OM”.

The three letters of AUM correspond to three principles:

The primordial A of before Creation
The U of Creation
The M of the expansion of Creation, Divine Breath propelled into infinity

The A represents the physical plane, the U the mental plane, the M the spiritual plane

The Hexamide

The Hexamide

The Hexamide is the symbol of the Aumist religion.

It is a six-edged pyramid in the colours of the rainbow, each colour representing a religion. At the summit of this pyramid, every religion merges in the OM, the white light of synthesis.

The Hexamide is thus the symbol of the unity of religions and of tolerance in respect for differences.

“Unity is above all the union of differences, not their disappearance.”

His Holiness Lord HAMSAH MANARAH (La Révolution du monde des vivants et des morts, p. 85)

The Column

The Column

The notion of reincarnation is fundamental in Aumism and in many religions. Life and death are two poles of our existence.

“To be born is to begin to die, and to die is to begin to be born.”

His Holiness Lord HAMSAH MANARAH (L’Aumisme, la Doctrine de l’Âge d’Or, p. 88)

Lord HAMSAH MANARAH teaches that: “Death is only a change of state”. The immortal soul leaves the body of flesh, then reincarnates and strives to reach illumination over the course of its incarnations.

The Column of Light welcomes the souls of the departed. Made up of six branches, each with 21 planes of consciousness, it is the post-mortem spiritual university where souls perfect themselves before reincarnating. Thus, little by little, the Earth will be peopled with evolved souls able to maintain peace, in Unity with the Divine present in each person.

The Pyramid

The Pyramid

The Evolutionary Pyramid of the kingdoms of nature represents (from bottom to top) the different kingdoms through which consciousness evolves, passing from the mineral to the plant, from the plant to the animal, from the animal to the human, and finally, at its summit, from the human to the Divine.

Aumism thus places interdependence and responsibility at the heart of the relationships between the kingdoms of nature:

“Human, animal, plant and mineral, within the Earth, are part of a Whole, like a branch of the Tree of life…”

His Holiness Lord HAMSAH MANARAH (“Le Code d’honneur de l’homme face aux règnes de la nature”, in L’Aumisme, la Doctrine de l’Âge d’Or, p. 207)
