DARING TO SHARE

Here we are in France on the eve of a gradual resumption of activity.
The pandemic has accentuated certain inequalities, with serious consequences for the most vulnerable, condemned to the street or to unworthy conditions of lockdown, and for peoples scarred by famine and war. Not to mention the consequences of the economic crisis now beginning…
Whatever the nature of our altruistic commitments and motivations, it is our individual and collective responsibility to do everything possible to avoid the aftershocks of the earthquake through an economic and social rebalancing. The pandemic has reminded us of our interdependence (health, human, economic…); this now commits us to greater solidarity and to a fairer distribution of wealth, of resources, of those common goods that are education and health, for example.
Aumism thus places its Law of sharing and its principles in the foreground:

1st principle: You shall share your knowledge, your learning and your material and spiritual gains with your neighbour.
2nd principle: You shall never be like the miser, sitting on his treasure chest, letting the world starve or souls take their own lives in despair.
3rd principle: You shall think of your neighbour more than of yourself and help him to evolve, and even to surpass you if he can.
Such is the Law of sharing, which excludes all selfishness at any level whatsoever.

May the “economic recovery” foster a new conception of individual happiness and collective balance founded on learning to share!
We have the wonderful good fortune of being able to make our contribution. The shared experience of solidarity in the face of the virus can only spur us on.
The following affirmation can refocus us on the capacity for change present in each of us:

“I develop more and more the powerful force of love for the whole world.
Today is the day of love, sharing and reconciliation with my neighbour.
I am in Unity with the Lord God All-Love,
dispensing His blessings on the whole universe.”
