PRESENTATION OF THE 2016 SYMPOSIUM
LIFE ON EARTH AND IN THE HEREAFTER
For many human beings, the greatest trial of life is death. A great question then arises: “Is there something after life on Earth?” It is worth noting that, on the basis of “near-death” testimonies, scientists are taking seriously the possibility of a post-mortem existence.
The aim here is not to impose a conviction, but to share a Knowledge that frees us from fear, allows us to live more serenely and to help the dying through prayer.
According to the Aumist Teaching, life continues in a hereafter called the Column of Light. This Column of Light is a kind of spiritual University in which, as on Earth, the soul continues to improve itself and learns to develop ever more love and unity with the Divine present in every being, before reincarnating to help humanity respect life and the values of peace.
In the present life, beyond differing points of view on death and the hereafter, we must learn solidarity so as to take the fate of the planet firmly in hand. In these difficult times, it is urgent to restore the unity of religions; to move towards forgiveness and reconciliation; to contribute to the protection of the environment; to join prayer and action, all together and each in their own way. For our humanity faces the absolute necessity of changing its mentality so that the planet may survive.
We invite you to a dialogue that respects everyone, based on talks presenting the Aumist Teaching and talks by outside speakers whom we are happy to welcome. During this symposium, a film on the initiatory journey of His Holiness Lord HAMSAH MANARAH, Founder of Aumism, will be shown to you in preview.
