OFFER YOUR ACTIONS

Being confined with your children can be an opportunity to give them time, to rediscover them. But some parents are constantly called upon by young and old, while ensuring their hours of telework and other essential tasks…

It is therefore important to be patient, to remember the deep meaning of family life:

“Love for family members is a step on the road to universal love. Conjugal life, bringing up children, dealing with difficulties, family and social responsibilities, all this helps to build character, transform men and develop their qualities. “(The Spiritual Master and the disciple, p.283)

What if, while taking care of others, you don’t find a moment of refocusing on yourself?

It is through action “in conscience” that we can stay focused on the essential: “those who have only a short time are able, if they want to, to find a way to give a another dimension to the smallest gestures that they are obliged to perform ”, says His Holiness the Lord HAMSAH MANARAH    (Le Yoga de l’Amour dans la Force, ch. 14 )

Any action, however prosaic, can be “spiritualized”:

“Whenever you have to accomplish a material task, which you dislike, cost you, or even please, offer it to the Divine. “

(La Réintégration Divine par le Yoga, p. 203.)

In Aumism as in Hinduism, the offering of actions to the Divine or to Humanity is the foundation of what tradition calls Karma-Yoga or “Yoga of selfless action”. Particularly suited to life in the modern world, it is an authentic spiritual path, intended for those who “love God through beings and work for the good of the community in a spirit of selflessness.” ”

This perspective helps to avoid dispersion, to act consciously, in the best possible way, by detaching from any tension on a personal interest. The duty thus fulfilled out of love contributes to the evolution of the planet as a whole. This is why this offering also applies to people who, although they do not believe in God, nevertheless sincerely desire to improve the world and keep their spirit centered on this commitment.
