VESAK Prayer in unity
The foundation of Aumism is the Unity of God’s Faces : “God is one whatever the Name by which He is called”. This is why we pray in unity of heart and spirit, with our Brothers and Sisters of other traditions, especially during the great celebrations of each one.
After the Christic feast of Easter comes the Vesak at the full moon of May, one of the most important feasts for the various currents of Buddhism. On this occasion, joining their prayers to that of all Buddhists around the world, the aumists celebrate the Buddha in its various manifestations and more particularly in its aspect of Maitreya, whose statue (one of the largest in the world) sits, at the heart of the Holy city of Mandarom Shambhasalem, facing that of Christ.
More than ever, our Earth, in this time of trial, needs Love, Compassion and Unity. So that the sufferings of all humans may be alleviated, whatever their path, we can pray together:
To free souls from hatred
OM OM OM
To free the souls of war
OM OM OM
To free souls from the suffering of hell
OM OM OM
To reunite man and Mother Nature
OM OM OM
To unite humanity into one people
OM OM OM
May Peace, Love, Light be for all beings to infinity.
