FORGIVING OTHERS
Only forgiveness can stop the hatreds and revenge that hold back the past. Without denying the prejudices caused, it leads to more love and brotherhood. This is why the Golden Age is the Age of Forgiveness.
“Allow yourselves this joy of being free from people’s oppositions,
friend-foe” oppositions, internal dualities
that make the seekers of truth split up and prolong the “inner Iron Age. »
(The Golden Age Doctrine, p. 61).
Everyone can experience the benefits of forgiveness.
For example, if you have accumulated grievances against someone and want to improve the relationship, before entering into dialogue “mentally forgive him/her for all the mistakes you accuse him/her of having made against you, and then always mentally ask him/her for forgiveness for all the mistakes you may have made consciously or unconsciously against him/her. “(La Loi d’Evolution des Ames, p. 226).
Seeing the Divine in the other facilitates this process which both liberates him and frees you from resentment.
Forgiveness – sometimes requiring a long work to detach oneself from certain memories – is the luminous force that makes all reconciliations possible:
“If men know how to forgive themselves, if they know how to forget the past,
border quarrels will diminish, civil wars will diminish,
War, a cruel expression of hatred, will finally disappear forever. »
