THOSE WHO UNDERSTAND THE TEACHING OF JESUS CHRIST :
In this modern world, the vigilant Christian strives to eliminate all sectarianism.
Before the coming of Jesus, humanity knew other teachers. Their message is not to be despised.
The heart and mind of the vigilant Christian should be free from fear and contempt, for the study of other traditions leads to a better understanding of one’s own, and to a strengthening of the sense of Oneness.
The Christian worthy of this name avoids or gets rid of the shortcomings that would make him a bad servant of the Forces of Light.
– He takes no pleasure in backbiting.
– He turns away from slander.
– He is not a racist, because he knows – as Jesus proclaimed – that ‘we are all children of the same Father’.
– It does not despise the poor, the destitute, the disinherited.
– He is not deceitful, a liar, a traitor or a villain.
– He does not revel in scandal.
– He is indulgent to the sinner, but severe to himself.
– He does not bathe in envy or jealousy.
– He is not a thief, nor a hypocrite, nor lazy.
– He sincerely aspires to Unity with the Heavenly Father.
Some are even capable of glorying in the evil done to their fellow human beings.
They are unaware of the degrading nature of their behaviour.
They forget this warning from Jesus, an expression of the law of karma:
‘Whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap’.
If they wish to redeem themselves, they should meditate on this encouragement to take the path of Reintegration:
‘There is more joy in Heaven over one sinner who is converted, than over ninety-nine righteous people who do good’ (Jesus)
This last thought shows the immensity of divine mercy,
