Builders of unity
Only unity rooted in mutual tolerance can heal the deep wounds of division. It takes time, but beyond appearances, “many people are already committed to this ideal of unity,” says Lord HAMSAH MANARAH.
In every country, every sector, and every religion, women and men are working to promote the rights of humanity and nature. Their stances and commitments combine respect for others with a sense of the common good [1]. They serve as mediators within their families [2], their social circles, and their professional environments. We all know people like this.
Whether discreet or spectacular, their efforts and ours come together to build, step by step, the foundations of unity in progress.
To help us, without stress or guilt, make each day a springboard to a more fraternal tomorrow, here is a thought-provoking question:
“What have I done for world peace?
For the reconciliation of peoples?
For my own growth? And for that of my brothers and sisters around me?”
