AGEING WITHOUT FEAR

“Fragile, at-risk, vulnerable”… Older people often hear these terms. As the body’s resistance diminishes over time, it is certainly necessary to urge them to be cautious, especially in times of pandemic. However, adapting to the limitations imposed by the years does not mean identifying with a body whose vigour diminishes while forgetting the strength to continue to fulfil one’s life. [1]

“Man is the age of his thoughts.”

This is why His Holiness Lord Hamsah Manarah invites us to “read texts that elevate thoughts, exalt the strength of the soul, help to maintain serenity”; to affirm within ourselves that “youth and dynamism are prolonged”; not to shut ourselves up in the past, to always have projects and objectives to achieve, not to “desert our ideal”.

“Always have the motivation to help others, because by helping others, the soul helps itself to remain young, to see itself projected into the future”.                                       (The Law of Evolution of Souls, p. 186)

So even as you grow older, it is possible to make yourself useful, to give meaning to your presence on Earth:

“Let us strive to do good with discernment. Let us forgive. Let us love with as little selfishness as possible, let us make people happy. ”                                                   (Naturopathy and Yoga, p. 204)

Humanity needs thoughts of peace, prayers, repetitions of the Sound OM that each one of us can offer, whatever the period of his life.
