GETTING OUT OF SECTARISM

The second step to take on the road to love is that of a widespread human love, less selfish than the “love for oneself” mentioned in the previous post [1], but which remains “restricted to the family framework, to a people, a nation, a religion.” When it becomes exclusive, it can come dangerously close to sectarianism, intolerance, exclusion, racism and other forms of violence towards the rest of the world…

Even without reaching such degrees, human love can thus become locked in prejudice, in mistrust of the unknown, the stranger, the difference.

To change this mental state is to rid it of the limits that create divisions and oppositions. While obviously continuing to cherish one’s loved ones, to love one’s roots or culture, one can learn to love without borders. [2]

“Raise your consciousness beyond the separate soap bubbles of your families, your regions, your homelands, says His Holiness Lord HAMSAH MANARAH. Reach out to the dimension of Love for the whole Earth… “

Here is an excerpt from the aumist prayer “to pour Love over the whole Earth”, promoting this wonderful expansion that, step by step, opens to Love in all its dimensions:

“I do not reject anyone, I love everyone

because I have understood that the Earth is a unit of Divine Love

of which I must be in solidarity.”
