Ending hatred

 

 

 

It is time to put an end to the escalation of hatred in the world.

 

It shows the need for states to work together to move beyond their conflicts and seek ways to overcome the national selfishness that breeds intolerance and exclusion. How can we put an end to the barbarity of wars which, in a cycle of revenge, decimate populations and trample on human rights? [1]

 

It shows the need to stop incitement to hatred blindly followed by adults and even minors, who forget that every action has consequences, including for the perpetrator. [2]

 

There are serious consequences for those who attack others, sometimes to the point of committing crimes.

 

There are beneficial consequences for those who act with respect and kindness. “Love your neighbor as yourself and you will build a happy future for yourself!” (A Law to Destroy Evil, p. 429).

 

In the name of the future of the planet, in unity with those who work for peace, let us build bridges, not walls.

 

More than ever, this call from the Lord HAMSAH MANARAH speaks to the hearts of all human beings:

 

“Jews, Christians, Muslims, Hindus, Buddhists,

yellow, white, black,

love one another !

Never kill your brothers in the name of God

or for the triumph of a political doctrine.”
