THE WORLD AFTER #83

1st of october 2025

New release

Asserting one’s humanity

How can we, at our level, contribute to ending the inhumanity of acts of violence that culminate in wars?

Let us not forget that we are all interdependent and that “the overall progress of humanity depends on the improvement of each of us” (Naturopathy and Yoga, p. 226). [1] .

If we consciously and deeply within ourselves defuse the seeds of violence, we contribute to peace.

This daily effort leads us to overcome hasty judgments and thoughtless reactions of rejection and revenge. It purifies our motivations, removing the law of retaliation. It increases the discernment essential to choosing the right action and commitment. It promotes the learning of forgiveness and solidarity. It helps us to pacify our relationship with ourselves and others. To affirm our humanity. This work on oneself is something that every human being must undertake—it is also the basis of any authentic spiritual journey.

“The war I love,” writes Lord HAMSAH MANARAH,
“Is the war against selfishness, envy, jealousy,
It is the war against separateness, mediocrity, intolerance,
It is the war in Love and not indifference (…) [2]
Reflecting on international peace
And universal harmony.”
( Le Yoga de l’Amour dans la Force, p.307)
