GET OUT OF EGOISM

To open oneself to the mental state of the Golden Age is to develop within oneself “the powerful force of love” that humans have, in the Iron Age, forgotten or denatured. The Aumist Teaching gives the means to those who want to evolve to cross different levels of love in order to walk at their own pace towards a love free of all limitations.

At the first level, men and women who are the unfortunate prisoners of selfishness, “love for oneself”, can find themselves with a dry heart. Unfortunately, some become insensitive to the trials of others, prey to resentment and even hatred.

For those who become aware of these states of mind, who suffer from them, Aumism puts the love of one’s neighbor at the center of everything, of every relationship. The “Prescription for opening up to love” in Vers un Age d’Or d’Unité, p. 153, of which the following is an excerpt, bears witness to this:

Accompanied by a visualization of Light and followed by an accelerated repetition of the Sound OM, these three wishes help those who want to gradually overcome their dryness of heart:

“I love my parents as much as I do and wish them all the happiness in the world.
I love my enemies as myself and wish them all the happiness in the world.
I love all the men and women of the world as myself.
and wishes everyone all the happiness in the world.”
