GETTING OUT OF DISCOURAGEMENT

It happens to everyone to feel discouragement and this is understandable: tiredness, worries of the moment, fears of the future amplified by rumors, media overkill… Faced with difficulties, there is no question of being in denial. But we can look for what is the most useful to better cross the ups and downs of existence: to squander its forces by crushing catastrophic ideas or to strengthen itself by cultivating a more positive mental?[1]

If we want to get stronger, let’s go at our own pace without setting the bar too high:“Setting deadlines is a mistake to avoid. It risks leading to premature discouragement. Such alchemy requires a climate of trust and inner relaxation. » (The Spiritual Master and the Disciple p. 288)

To get out of a negative vision of ourselves and of others, let’s first become aware of the tendencies that maintain it in us. Then, let’s change our perspective and think about the qualities we want to develop and their beneficial consequences. Imagine the good you want to see manifested in your life,” says Lord HAMSAH MANARAH. Think of your legitimate worldly aspirations, then think of your spiritual becoming.” When the inner universe lights up, courage resurfaces.

At the same time, practice conscious breathing, [2] repeating the OM sound and remembering often: “I am the Supreme Self in unity with the Divine Consciousness”, help to develop more self-confidence, a necessary asset whatever the external situations. [3]
